Bengaluru: 20-Year-Old Woman Dies After Fall From High-Rise While Filming Reel

A 20-year-old woman tragically died after falling from the 13th floor of an under-construction building in Bengaluru's Parappana Agrahara, reportedly while filming a social media reel.

According to police reports, the woman had gone to the site late at night with a group of friends - both male and female - to attend a party.

A dispute is believed to have arisen among the group over a relationship matter. During the argument, the woman reportedly went up to the terrace to record what police have described as a "sad reel" and accidentally fell into the lift shaft.

The victim, who hailed from Bihar, was working at a shopping mart in Bengaluru. Following the incident, her friends fled the scene.

Confirming the incident, DCP (South East) Fatima said: "Yes, they were partying in the building. They later went to the terrace to record reels, and she slipped and fell to her death. As of now, we are unaware if a relationship issue led to this. Everything is under investigation. A case has been registered under the Unnatural Death Report (UDR)."

The Parappana Agrahara Police are continuing their inquiries into the events that led to the incident.
