Bengaluru: 11-year-old cyclist rammed over by a truck
Bengaluru, Feb 19: After the horrific Nelamangala road accident, on Thursday, Feb 19, an 11-year-old boy, who was riding a bicycle was rammed over by a speeding truck near Kengiri, southwest, Bengaluru. A 10-year-old as pillion rider has sustained injuries.
The accident took place when Suresh and Jeevan were returning after visiting the nearby market. While Suresh came under the wheel of the truck, Jeevan fell away from the truck. Meanwhile, passerby rushed them to the nearby Rajarajeswari Hospital. Suresh was declared dead at the hospital, while Jeevan sustain few injuries.

Suresh was the son of a construction worker and was a resident of Halegevaderapalya.He was a student of class 6th and was studying in a government school. As Suresh was not well, he did do not go to school. However, after his parents left for work, he took out his bicycle to have a ride with his friend Jeevan.
Meanwhile, Kengiri police arrested the 48-year-old truck driver, Thangadurai and have seized the vehicle.
