B'lore: Youth arrested for anti-Modi SMS
Bangalore, May 26: Next time you send a message against the future government, think twice. A 24-year old student was arrested by the Bangalore Police on Saturday night for allegedly sending an anti-Modi text message to an RTI activist.

The student has been idetified as Sayyed Vakas hailing from Bhatkal.

According to police officials Sayyed had come to the city 15 days back for his internship. After the Lok Sabha election results were announced on May 16 he sent an anti-Modi text to Jayant Vinayakar, an RTI activist.

That is when Jayant went to the police officials and lodged a complaint.

This is the second such incident in one week where youngsters have been arrested for circulating anti-Modi comments on social media platform like Facebook and messaging apps like Whats App.

A local was arrested in Goa last week, after he posted comments against Narendra Modi on Facebook during the Lok Sabha campaign. Goa CM Manohar Parrikar then said that the 'government wouldn't interfere in any anti-Modi FB case.'
