Bangalore: Nandan Nilekani's fame touches Kannada film industry (pics)

Bangalore, April 3: With the elections fast approaching, the popularity of the IT czar

is growing with every passing day.

Several prominent people campaigned for Nilekani on Wednesday. Renowned theatre personalities, writers, actors from the Kannada film industry are all coming together to root for Nandan.

The campaigners included actresses Jaymala and Bhavya, renowned theatre personality Girish Karnad, famous Kannada writer and actor G.K Govind Rao.

Recently, former Karnataka CM S. M. Krishna also campaigned for Nilekani. "When I was the Minister for External Affairs, I visited around 98 countries, and wherever I go people know Bangalore because of Infosys. Everybody knows us, and they know Nandan," Krishna said.
