Arvind Kejriwal should have furnished the bond: Anna Hazare
Hazare, who was in the city, said that earlier 'activists took pride in going to jail, but now going to jail had become fashionable.'
Speaking about Kejriwal going to jail in the Nitin Gadkari defamation case, Hazare said that by not furnishing a bond Kejriwal disrespected the Court. "If the court has asked you to furnish a bond, then furnish it. If you are accussing of someone conspiring against you, approach the court and give evidence.
Refusing to submit a bond, amounts to disrespecting the court," Hazare said. On being asked if he had any advice for Hazare said 'he is beyond our reach.'
Arvind Kejriwal was sent to judicial custody till June 6.
