Rebel star Ambareesh campaigns for Nandan Nilekani in Bangalore

Shri Ambareesh addressed hundreds of thousands of people in Srinagara, who had come to catch a glimpse of him as he campaigned in Bengaluru South.
"I urge all of you to vote for a person who is honest, sensible and knowledgeable. This person is standing next to me. He is a pramanike vyakthi, he is Nandan Nilekani," Ambareesh said. "All of you are responsible for my having reached this position. I want you to give Nandan the same love and respect you gave me. He deserves it for the work he has done."
"I am asking you all to vote for Nandan not as a Minister but as a common man," Ambareesh said, adding "His contribution to this city is immense. He created Infosys, then improved the city's infrastructure through BATF. Then he created Aadhaar. His work shows that he keeps his promises. His entry into politics will ensure this constituency's, and the entire country's development."
"The star of "ಮಂಡ್ಯದ ಗಂಡು" (mandyada gandu) is campaigning with me today, and I am both thrilled and humbled," Nandan said.
