Air India Launches New Non-Stop Flight Service from Bengaluru To London Gatwick

Air India has announced a new non-stop flight service between Bengaluru and London Gatwick, set to take off from August 18, 2024. This new route marks Bengaluru as the fifth Indian city to connect directly to the UK's second-largest airport, London Gatwick.

The airline will operate these flights five times a week, expanding its presence in the UK. With this addition, Air India will offer a total of 17 weekly flights to and from London Gatwick.

The Boeing 787 Dreamliner will be used for these flights, featuring 18 flat beds in Business class and 238 comfortable seats in Economy.

According to Campbell Wilson, Chief Executive Officer & Managing Director, Air India, "We are thrilled to offer our guests convenient, non-stop flights between Bengaluru and London Gatwick. This new route meets the growing demand for travel between these two important business and leisure destinations and solidifies our commitment to expanding our global network."

Currently, Air India operates flights from four other Indian cities-Ahmedabad, Amritsar, Goa, and Kochi-to London Gatwick. The airline also operates 31 weekly flights to London Heathrow and six weekly flights to Birmingham.
