39-Year-Old Startup CEO Kills Son In Goa, Travels Back To Karnataka With His Body In A Bag

In a shocking incident, a 39-year-old Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of a startup from Bengaluru was arrested by Aimangala Police in Chitradurga district on charges of murdering her 4-year-old son in Goa. Goa Police are slated to take custody of the woman on Tuesday.

The accused identfied as Suchana Seth had checked out of the service apartment in North Goa's Candolim on Monday morning. Seth who was back in Karnataka by now, was detained at Aimangala police station in the Chitradurga district based on an alert from the Goa police.

Had it not been for the keen observation of bloodstains by the Goa hotel staff in the room, the incident might have remained concealed for a longer duration.

Suchana and her son had checked into a North Goa service apartment on Saturday. During her departure on Monday morning, while exiting the room alone, she informed the hotel staff that her son was at a relative's residence.

She checked out of the hotel, utilizing a cab arranged by the establishment. It was the vigilance of the housekeeping staff noticing the bloodstains that prompted them to alert the authorities.

The Calangute Police contacted the cab driver, eventually directing him to halt at the nearest police station after engaging Suchana. Initially, she provided a false address in Goa and claimed her son was at a relative's place, which turned out to be fictitious upon police verification.

Later, the police instructed the driver to stop the car in front of the Aimangala Police Station. Upon inspection, the 4-year-old's body was discovered concealed in a suitcase within the vehicle.

The deceased child's body has been relocated to a mortuary, awaiting further investigation by the Goa Police, who aim to obtain transit remand for Suchana. The motive behind this tragic incident is yet to be determined.
