30 injured as state-run bus turns turtle in Karnataka

The accident occurred last evening after the driver lost control over the vehicle when passing through Madyala Chadavu near Dharmasthala, they said.
The group began its tour from Kolar on April 27 and reached Dharmasthala on April 28, they said, adding that the trip was sponsored by department of women and child welfare.
The KSRTC Dharmasthala unit staff and the temple employees rushed to the spot for rescue operations.
The injured were taken to a private hospital at Ujire near here.
A few of them were later shifted to a hospital here for advanced treatment.
A case has been registered against the bus driver at Beltangady police station based on a complaint filed by the passengers.
