3 Fans Of KGF Star Yash Electrocuted While Putting Up Banner Of Actor In Karnataka's Gadag District
Three ardent fans of Rocking Star Yash tragically suffered electrocution while setting up banners to celebrate the actor's birthday in Suranagi village, Gadag district. This incident occurred late Sunday night, resulting in the loss of three lives and injuries to two others, currently under treatment at Laxmeshwar Taluk Hospital.
The deceased individuals-Hanumanth Harijan (21), Murali Naduvinamani (20), and Naveen (19)-all hailed from Suranagi village in Laxmeshwar taluk, Gadag district.

During the Sunday night gathering of Yash's fans, banners and cutouts in honor of the actor's 38th birthday, slated for January 8, were being put up. Unfortunately, while hoisting the banner, they inadvertently made contact with a high-tension wire, causing the tragic electrocution of three individuals. Two others who attempted to rescue them sustained injuries.
All five individuals were swiftly taken to the hospital, where three succumbed to the injuries while the remaining two are undergoing treatment at Laxmeshwar's Taluk Hospital.
Shirahatti MLA Dr. Chandru Lamani visited the hospital to inquire about the well-being of the injured and was briefed by officials regarding the incident that led to the loss of three lives.
Following post-mortem procedures and necessary formalities, the bodies will be handed over to their respective families.
On the occasion of his birthday, Yash had previously announced his unavailability to meet fans, expressing gratitude for their support towards his upcoming film titled 'Toxic,' which he disclosed on December 8. The film, slated for an April 2025 release, reportedly stars Bollywood actor Kareena Kapoor.
