20-Year-Old College Student Found Dead In Mysterious Circumstances In Bengaluru

A 20-year-old college student, identified as Prabhudhya, was discovered dead in mysterious circumstances at her residence in Bengaluru's Subramanyapura on Thursday.

The young woman was found with her throat slit and cut marks on her hands. The police have initiated a case of unnatural death in connection with the incident, which occurred on Wednesday night but came to light on Thursday.

Prabhudhya was found in the bathroom and was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital.

Her mother, a social activist, expressed disbelief at the notion of her daughter taking her own life. She noted that her daughter's mobile phone was missing, and the back door of the house was open, raising suspicions.

"I have rescued many children, stood up against influential politicians, and questioned the system. I cannot comprehend who could have committed this act," the grieving mother, Sowmya, stated.

"My daughter always kept us informed about her whereabouts. She had returned home yesterday after college. I raised her with values of self-respect, integrity, and bravery. Now, my 20-year-old daughter lies lifeless before me," she added.

DCP South S. Lokesh Jagalsar mentioned that the young woman's body bore injuries on her neck and hands. "We are awaiting the post-mortem report and exploring all angles in our investigation," he remarked.
