A seventh-grade student reportedly jumped to death from the balcony of her family's 29th-floor apartment on Begur Road, Hulimavu, in southeast Bengaluru. The incident happened in the early hours when a security guard, responding to a noise on the corridor around 5 am, found the lifeless body of the 12-year-old girl. The father, a former software engineer who transitioned to stock trading six months ago, and the mother, a homemaker, are coping with the devastating loss.

Despite the thorough investigation, no suicide note was discovered at the scene, and there were no messages on the child's phone or other devices.

According to the mother, she found the girl awake at 4:40 am when she came out of her room. When she asked her daughter why she was up so early, the daughter offered a vague response before returning to her room.
