Jordan pulled one back through Mousa Al Tamari in the 55th minute, finishing from a move down the right. But Argentina stayed in control and closed out the match comfortably.
Scaloni had made his priorities clear before kick-off, using the game to rotate his squad and keep key players fresh. The result confirmed Argentina's clean sweep in the group stage and sent them into the knockouts with momentum, depth and Messi on the scoresheet again.
