Rahul Gandhi to participate in padyatra, rally in Gujarat today
The Gandhi scion will take part in a rally at Bardoli around 11 am and will address a gathering around 1 pm.
The Bardoli Lok Sabha constituency is a tribal-dominated one and is represented by the Congress's Tushar Chaudhury, a Union minister, for the last three terms.
The Vikas Khoj Yatra, which kicked off at Satyagraha Ashram in Ahmedabad on January 18, will conclude at Bardoli's Swaraj Ashram on Sunday. The 23-day padyatra went through nine Lok Sabha constituency areas in the state of which four are represented by the Congress.
Meanwhile, the state chief minister and BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi will address three rallies on Saturday, two in the northeast and one in Chennai.
