Narendra Modi thanks Advani for his support and presence

Ahmedabad, Oct 2: Addressing the audience at the inauguration of the Institute of Infrastructure, Technology, Research & Management here on Wednesday,

Modi, who shared the dais with LK Advani showered praises on him and thanked him for his support. "I am thankful that Advaniji came here, to my constituency for this. This is not for a seat or a city for the nation," he said.

He added that Advani has said it with confidence that BJP will win the elections. "I trust what Advaniji said that in 2014 will deliver change,' he said.

"If Ahmedabad develops on the western side it is complete. It must also develop on the eastern side," he said.

Emphasising on the development aspect of Gujarat, he said that development must be the one that touches everyone. It is not only about words. Empowerment of the youth is the way ahead.

He also said that a lot of private investment was coming in the way of development.

He also praised the youth and said that 'we are blessed with youth power. "Imagine how much the youth can contribute towards nation building," he said.
