Trouble level up: New FIR of rape against Asaram and son by sisters

Ahmedabad, Oct 6: Here it goes again. This time, both, the father and son are into trouble. An FIR has been registered by two sisters against the self styled godman Asaram and his son Narayan Sai, in Surat.

According to the FIR, Asaram allegedly raped the elder sister at Ahmedabad ashram. The younger sister has accused Narayan Sai of raping her in Surat between 2002-04, reported Zee.

The police has decided to look into the matter and question Narayan Sai. He was earlier accused by a married woman of trying to sexually assault her.

Asaram Bapu's spokesperson Neelam Dubey was shocked and annoyed and asked why new cases were surfacing against them just at the time when the asaram is in jail for allegedly sexually assaulting a 16-year-old girl.

Asaram Bapu is currently lodged in the Jodhpur Central Jail since September 02.

On August 20, a 16-year-old girl lodged a police complaint accusing Asaram, 72, of sexually assaulting her at his ashram near Jodhpur.
