A 45-year-old woman, who claimed to have worked in Asaram's ashram here for in the past, has alleged that Asaram's aides lured women to accede to the septuagenarian's demand for sex, the report said.

She said that the controversial godman used to offer Rs 1 lakh to women to have sex with him and if they refused, he used to threaten them. She also added the godman had eyes on all kinds of women, whether teachers, sadhikas or widows, the report mentioned.

The woman also accused Asaram of trying to molest her once but she slapped him and pushed him out of her room and then left the ashram.

She also said that she did not trust the Gujarat police after she found Vanzara protecting the godman. She said Asaram used to visit the ashram with Vanzara for 'inspection' and that she once threw chilly powder at Vanzara to protect herself, the Daily Bhaskar report said. She said she had got hold of Asaram's beard but he escaped.
