Diplomatic Salman khan deals with Modi question safely

on Tuesday put on the diplomat's cap when he was asked about the prime minister's candidate of his preference. Speaking to journalists here at a kite-flying ceremony along with

Chief Minister

who is also the BJP's prime ministerial candidate, Khan said: "May the best man becomes the prime minister of India."

Khan told the audience that the decision to choose the best man lies with them. "I do not belong to Gujarat. I am from Mumbai and it doesn't matter what I want or don't want. It is you who should decide who is the best man to lead the nation. Every constituency has its own nature and it is the people of the constituency who is the best judge of the leader. For me, Baba Siddique and Priya Dutt get the votes." Siddique and Dutt are the Congress MLA and MP from the Bandra West area in Mumbai where Khan resides.

The actor, when being repeatedly asked about the leader of his preference, said it would not be good if he with his limited knowledge (about politics) gets trapped in the questions.

Khan further said all states should develop and everybody should love their chief minister as Gujarat does.
