Youth power can serve as human resource bank: Murmu
Ranchi, May 19: Jharkhand Governor Droupadi Murmu today said the country's energetic youth power can serve as "human resource bank" for the world.
"Today's India has attracted the attention of the whole world and this country is being viewed as a future superpower. A sizable section of our population is below 30 years of age. This energetic youth power can serve as human resource bank for the world," she said addressing the fifth Convocation of the Birsa Agriculture University here.

The newly appointed Governor of the state said new opportunities were emerging for capable persons to work and show their performance with the rapid development of science, technology and industry.
"However, problem of lack of adequate skill and unemployment are still plaguing our nation. Food production for increasing population is also a challenge, for which our agriculture scientists have to gear up," she said.
Stating that her government placed education and development on top of the agenda, Murmu said the education imparted should be "relevant" and "useful" for the poor and downtrodden sections of the society.
