MP: Debt-ridden farmer commits suicide

Chhatarpur, MP, Feb 21: A 32-year-old debt-ridden farmer has committed suicide at this district's Sunahara village, police said. Keshari (32) hanged himself to death on his village's tree on Feb 20. Villagers said the victim owed huge debts to moneylenders.

Coincidently, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister has announced the relief of Rs 5,600 crore to state farmers in Kisan Mahapanchayat in the state capital yesterday.
