No alternative to the leadership of Narendra Modi: Amit Shah

Agra, Sept 3: BJP's UP in-charge and a close aide of Narendra Modi, Amit Shah on Tuesday said that there was "no alternative" to the leadership of the Gujarat Chief Minister.
"There was no alternative to the leadership of Modi. One who should be in charge of the destiny of the country should be like Modi, who had handled Gujarat so well," Shah, who had earlier held the portfolio of Gujarat Home Minister, said while addressing a BJP trade convention last evening.
"As against the all India growth rate of 4.4 per cent, the BJP ruled states of Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh have achieved a growth rate of 9.8 per cent and 9.6 per cent respectively," he said.
The BJP leader claimed that Gujarat and MP models of growth are the best examples which need to be followed to get the country out of its economic crisis.
