Mild quake jolts J&K, no casualties reported

Doda,Sept 3: Mild tremors were felt in the Doda district in

on Tuesday afternoon.

The tremors were mild in nature and measured 4.4 on the Richter scale. No casualties were reported from the region. The epicentre of the quake was 33 km north of Kishtwar and 75 km south of Kashmir.

Panic-stricken people rushed out of their homes as the quake struck. A tremor measuring 3.4 on the Richter scale had hit the area on Sunday.
