MHA confirms no reported intrusion by Myanmar Army

New Delhi, Aug 28: In response to the Mynamar Army's intrusion in Moreh sector of Manipur, the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) said that there have been no intrusions by the Myanmar Army into the Indian territory.

The MHA confirmed on Wednesday evening that there has been no intrusion by the Myanmar troops into Indian territory.

This comes in the wake of the alleged intrusion reported earlier by the Myanmar troops into Indian soil on August 22, where they had set up a camp. The Ministry of External Affairs, Defence and the MHA has in fact acknowledged the fact and were dealing with it at every stage.

The troops had cut trees and were trying to set up a temporary camp in the Holenphai village at the border of Moreh town in Manipur.
