Jodhpur police rejects Asaram's application seeking more time
Jodhpur: The Jodhpur Police has rejected Asaram Bapu's application here on Wednesday, seeking more time to appear before them.
In his application he had citied 'previous commitments' as a reason and had asked for more time to appear before the police. The police, rejecting his application said that if he fails to appear before August 30, they will arrest him.

Asaram has been evading his arrest for a week now against a complaint filed by a 16-year-old girl, who accused him of raping her.
The police has been unable to nab the self styled guru so far thereby raising many questions on the force, who seem to be under pressure from the state government.
However Rajasthan CM Ashok Ghelot quashed these reports and said that the police was not under any pressure from anyone. He also added that neither his party nor is he shielding Asaram.
