Helpline number launched in HP for civil services aspirants

Launching the helpline number 1800-180-8004, Commission chairman K S Tomar said that the assistance centre would function from 10 AM to 5 PM on all days, except government holidays. The centre would be manned by experienced and professional executives, he said.
"The facility would help aspirants from different corners of the state, facing problems in filing the online application forms," Tomar said. The chairman said he had recently visited the office of Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) at Ajmer to know about the latest technology being used there.
RPSC had taken major initiatives to enhance Information Technology application and had changed pattern to reduce the paper work during the written examinations to zero level, he said.
"We have to go a long way to take the current system of the examination to the next level, which will have hundred per cent utilisation of new technology," Tomar added.
