Mumbai gangrape: Sushma Swaraj demands death penalty for accused
New Delhi, Aug 24: The senior BJP leader and the Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Sushma Swaraj expressed her views on a number of issues in a press conference on Saturday.
While addressing the media, Sushma targetted the Congress party by holding it responsible for not running of the Lok Sabha.

On Mumbai Photojournalist gangrape case, that took place on Thursday evening, Sushma demanded that death penalty should be given to the rapists.
She said, "I am of the firm view and reiterate that if the guilty in the Nirbhaya get this punishment, there will be stop somewhere ."
On Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) proposed yatra in Ayodhya, Sushma said, "It is the fundamental right of every citizen to go on a yatra."
She said that the yatra should be allowed and appealed to everyone not to make such statements that create tension.
On Telangana issue, Sushma said that "Congress is playing games" and demanded that Congress should bring the Telangana bill in Parliament and extend the monsoon session.
