Mumbai horror: 22-year-old photojournalist gangraped
Mumbai, Aug 23: A 22-year-old photojournalist was gangraped by five people at the Shakti Mills compound in Lower Parel in southern part of the Maximum City around 6.30 pm on Thursday. She was undergoing treatment at Jaslok Hospital after suffering multiple injuries.
Twenty people were detained by the police later. Eighteen police teams have been formed to nab the culprits, sources said. Sketches of the accused were also being prepared and would be released on Friday morning.

Police said the victim was accompanied by a male friend who was tied before the heinous crime was committed. The photojournalist works for a magazine and was reportedly on her official duty when the attack took place.
Doctors said the victim's health condition was being monitored closely and could not say anything more.
The incident revived the memories of the night of December 16 last year when a medical student was gangraped and brutally assaulted in a moving bus in New Delhi when she was returning home with one of her male friends. She later died in a Singapore hospital. The entire nation was taken by a storm following the crime.
