Pitroda voices his concerns over the quality of education
Kolkata, Aug 22: Sam Pitroda, advisor to the Prime Minister on public information infrastructure and innovations, expressed his concern over the current quality of education in the country.
He said that the mindset of the government ministries and that of the UGC body has to change since they are living in the dark ages.
Showing his concern over the quality of education, Pitroda commented that the quality of education in India was pretty bad, leaving aside a few universities in the country.
"Eight bills that are related to education, are lying in Parliament because these are generational changes. I am quite concerned about our ability to focus on reforms and development," Pitroda said.
