Documents reveal Vadra bought land with a fictitious cheque

Robert Vadra
Chandigarh: Ashok Khemka is finally proved right, after media channels got hold of documents that stated that Sonia Gandhi's son-in-law Robert Vadra bought property from Omkareshwar properties with a fictitious cheque.

Documents clearly state that Vadra, through his firm Skylight Hospitality, bought 3.5 acres of land from the property dealer in February 2008. This was a claim made by Ashok Khemka in his response to the Haryana government inquiry report on Vadra. The report, further stated that the money had been paid in full.

It was claimed that Rs 7.5 crore was paid by Robert Vadra's Skylight Hospitality with a Corporation Bank cheque.

It is learnt that Skylight Hospitality did not have money to pay for the land in its accounts. Hence Vadra chose to pay the money after receiving an advance from DLF, but even that was done through one of his other companies.
