BSF killing: JD(U) withdraws show-cause notice to Bihar ministers

New Delhi, Aug 21: In another instance of dirty politics, JD(U) withdrew the show-cause notices that it had issued to the two Bihar ministers Bhim Singh and Narendra Singh for their controversial remarks on the Poonch killing of five Indian soldiers at the LoC.

Bhim Singh, has unceremoniously opined that people join the Army to die. Agriculture minister Narendra Singh, was no less embarassing when he declared that the LoC attack was not done by the Pakistani soldiers.

Sharad Yadav

JD(U) Chief Sharad Yadav genuinely seemed embarassed and outraged when he issued notices to the duo. He had said,"policy, ethics and norms of JD(U)". The leaders were supposed to answer to the report within 7 days.

It is past 10 days now; forget the reply, the entire show-cause was withdrawn altogether. Was the party chief waiting for the anger of the media and the people to die down? so that the show-cause is revoked and the ministers function as usual.

Anyways, a show-cause notice for such derogatory statements is just an eye-wash, which does not mean anything for the politicians, but withdrawing a show-cause is the ultimate example of disrespecting the martyrs.
