TN Cong leader to present cash award to newborns on Rajiv birthday

Sources said Louis is eyeing to make a foray into mainstream politics through the unique scheme. The leader said to have invited all those women who were expecting to give birth to their babies on August 20 to register their names at his office. The certificates would be handed over to the new parents on the occasion of Union Finance Minister P Chidambaram's birthday on September 16.

The Trichy Congress leadership said a number of welfare schemes would also be announced during the occasion of Rajiv Gandhi's birthday.
