Delhi BJP protests food security programme
New Delhi, Aug 20: The Delhi unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Tuesday protested against the food security programme outside the Talkatora Stadium in the capital where Congress president Sonia Gandhi would launch the "ambitious" scheme.
Several party workers shouted slogans against the food security programme outside the venue in north Delhi.

Delhi BJP chief Vijay Goel was leading the protest which police tried to disperse by using water cannons.
After launch of the programme, 73.5 lakh people will get foodgrain at subsidised prices.
