Another ceasefire violation by Pak in LoC, targets Mendhar sector

Bangalore, Aug 11: After the exchange of fire on the International Border in Kanachak area of Jammu on Sunday,

has violated the

agreement again.

Pakistani troops have opened unprovoked firing at Indian posts along LoC in Mendhar sector of Jammu and Kashmir.

The firing started at 12 p m today and still continues. There is no initial report of any casualty on the Indian side.

Earlier today morning Pakistan militants targeted at two BSF posts along the international border (IB) at Alfa Machial Border Out Post (BOP) area in Jammu that resulted in one BSF jawan getting injured.

On Friday night also, Pakistan targeted Indian posts by heavy rounds of Pika ammunition and mortar shells during a seven- hour firing along Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.
