Jagan Reddy, Vijayamma resign as MP, MLA
Hyderabad, Aug 10: The YSR Congress President and and son of former Andhra Pradesh chief minister YS Rajashekhar Reddy, YS Jaganmohan Reddy and his mother YS Vijayamma have resigned from their Lok Sabha and Assembly seats, respectively, over the issue of Andhra Pradesh's bifurcation, on Saturday.
According to report, their resignations come in the wake of the protest of "Congress approach towards bifurcation of state".

The move comes at a time when the Congress leaders including the chief minister Kiran Reddy accused parties like TDP, YSRCP as playing double games by not coming clear on the bifurcation issue.
All of the party's 16 MLAs had resigned even before the Congress's June 30 decision to split the state. Another MP Mekapati Reddy had faxed his resignation to Speaker on July 5.
The protests against separation completed 11 days on Saturday in the Seemandhra region.
