by consuming poison after their class teacher asked them to bring their parents for not doing well in studies, officials said on Friday.

Paramathy Vellore Tahsildhar Rajan and Revenue Officer Kavitha said the private school teacher had scolded the six plus-two students and upset over his insisting that they bring their parents,they consumed poison yesterday. They were admitted to hospital where two were discharged after treatment, officials said.
