Gandhinagar, Aug 8: Bollywood actors Paresh Rawal and Akshay Kumar met Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi here on Wednesday.

During the talks, Modi and the two actors discussed various steps taken by the Gujarat government for the promotion of sports and the overall development of the youth. Kumar and Rawal expressed their desire to contribute in the development of sports like judo and karate and take initiatives for setting up a sports university. Modi also spoke about a yoga university during the meeting.

Kumar, a martial arts expert, has taken initiative to include martial arts in school and college curricula across the country. He had also met Modi earlier for promoting martial arts in the schools in Gujarat and the latter agreed.
