Muslim Brotherhood's top leaders to face trial on Aug 25
The Brotherhood's Supreme Guide Mohamed Badei is still under hiding, but two of his aides, Khairat al-Shater and Rashad Bayoumi, are currently under arrest.
The charges include killing, inciting violence against protesters and illegally possessing explosives and weapons, Xinhua cited the report as saying.
The top leaders are accused of inciting violence against protesters around the Brotherhood headquarters in Moqattam district in Cairo during protests of June 30 that led to the ouster of Islamist president Mohamed Morsi.
