Bhopal, Aug 2: The Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, who is on a 50-day "Janashirwad yatra", on Friday told reporters that the Congress is continuously discriminating with the people of his state.
Addressing from Shajapur Circuit House, Chouhan alleged that Central ministers and Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh, did not not pay any heed for the safety and maintenance of national highways in Madhya Pradesh, even after fasts observed by him.
"They do not bother about 7.5 crore population of MP", he said.
He added, "Whether it is agricultural-related products distribution, providing shelter to poor people or coal-allocation, the Central government always discriminate with MP."
Chouhan also said proudly that the roads, the BJP has built in last 8 years, the Congress, could not built such roads in 60 years.
Taking a jibe at the Centre, he said that while the Congress plunged the state into darkness, the BJP provided it with with 24*7 power in its villages and cities.

"By launching various welfare schemes, the state government has put Madhya Pradesh in the list of most developed states of the country", he said.
Chouhan also said that Congress is maligning BJP's image in Delhi and also brain washing the common public. Now, people will fight Congress on behalf of the BJP in the upcoming assembly elections.
On Congress spokesperson Digvijay Singh's recent sexist remark on the Congress MP Meenakshi Natarajan, Chouhan said, "I pray to God to give wisdom to him."
As the Congress is fighting for its existence in MP, they are using central probe agencies like the CBI, Income Tax department, to defame the state's ministers.
He added, "Congress is directionless. They just know how to find ways to defame the BJP, which is their main agenda. In the upcoming eelctions, Congress will be defeated badly and we will form the government for the third time."
On minority people, he said that they have participated in Yatra with full zeal and excitement and also expressed gratitude to them for showing their faith in the BJP.
At the rally, BJP's national vice-president and MP Prabhat Jha, senior ministers Lakshmikant Sharma, Govind Malu and District President Arun Bhimavat were present.
