Pak High Commissioner bats for greater cooperation with India
New Delhi, Aug 2: Pakistani High Commissioner to India Salman Bashir on Thursday emphasised on the need for greater cooperation between the two neighbouring countries.
Bashir, delivering a lecture at a private university in Sonepat, spoke about Pakistan's aspirations for peace and progress, democratic polity, and the vision of shared development of South Asia.
"The High Commissioner also highlighted the good neighbourhood policy and the efforts to reach out to India in this regard. "He emphasised the imperatives of Pakistan-India cooperation to enable the peoples of South Asia realise their true potential for development, peace and stability," a statement released by the Pakistan High Commission here said.
