Mumbai: TV actress runs over five people, killing one

, August 2: Television actress and model Sakshi Parikh allegedly rammed her car into a two wheeler and auto-rickshaw, killing one and leaving at least four injured in Kandivali area of Mumbai on Friday.

Sakshi was driving at a very high speed and reportedly lost control of her vehicle, ran into another lane where it hit the motorcycle and auto-rickshaw, sources said.

The biker succumbed to injuries on the spot while the four injured were shifted to the Bhagwati Hospital, police said.

Police have begun the investigation and are yet to trace whether Sakshi was drunk at the time when the accident took place. She was taken into custody by the police.
