New Delhi, July 31: It will take some more time to complete the formalities before the youngest state of the Indian Union, Telengana, becomes a reality in administrative terms.
Following the nod of the UPA and Congress Working Committee, the Union Cabinet will take up the matter for approval and once the cabinet approves the State Reorganisation Bill, the prime minister will recommend the President for the latter's approval.

The President's office will send the bill to Andhra Pradesh Assembly where a resolution will be passed. The bill will have to be passed by the Assembly to set up the new state of Telangana.
Following it, a separate bill on the new state will have to be approved by both Houses of the Parliament.
