2 Kanwaria pilgrims killed, 5 injured in mishap

Lucknow, July 30: Two Kanwariya pilgrims were on Tuesday

and five others

near Rohinda village in Araniya area of

district, police said here.

The incident took place this morning at about 5 AM when a truck hit seven kanwariyas, they said.

Two Shiva devotees identified as Atar Singh (26) and Kaman Singh (25), were killed, while five others have been admitted to a hospital, where their condition was stated to be stable, said police.

All the pilgrims were residents of Muraina in Madhya Pradesh and were going to Aligarh from Bulandshahr, they said.
