347 pilgrims leave for Amarnath from Jammu

A convoy of nine vehicles, carrying the 33rd batch of 347 devotees, left the Yatri Niwas at Bhagwati Nagar at around 4:50 AM to pay obeisance at the cave shrine in the Kashmir Valley, police said.
The batch including 213 men, 48 women and 2 children, apart from 89 sadhus, were on their way to twin base camps of Pahalagam and Baltal in the Valley, they added.
With today's batch, a total of 49,791 pilgrims have left Jammu base camp for Amarnath so far. Over 3.30 lakh pilgrims have performed obeisance at cave shrine of Amarnath so far.
