The incident occurred in Karachi on Wednesday, a Pakistani news site reported.
Police said the armed robbers entered the branch of Meezan Bank located in Block II near Boat Basin here around 9.40 am. They came in two cars and snatched the security man's weapon. The manager of the bank reportedly informed the Phoenix Security Company as the operation was still on but then the unbelievable happened.
The police said they were informed about half an hour after the robbery took place and that the bank authorities failed to provide the CCTV footage of the operation for the robbers had taken away the surveillance camera as well.
