Prince Charles & Camilla overjoyed with royal baby's birth
London, July 23: Duchess of Cambridge Kate gave birth to a baby boy on Monday afternoon at a hospital here. The birth was announced via a formal press release issued by the Kensington Palace, which said that the royal son was born at 4.24 pm, local time.
The Duke of Cambridge was present at the grand occasion, the palace statement said. The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Duchess of Cornwall, Prince Harry, The Prince of Wales and members of both families were delighted with the news.

Prince William was with the duchess throughout the labour. An overjoyed Prince Charles and his wife Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, said grandparenthood is a unique moment in one's life and they were extremely proud and happy.
British Prime Minister David Cameron, US President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama and Australian Prime Minister Kevin Rudd congratulated the royal family on the happy occasion.
