School headmaster suspended in midday meal case
Muzaffarnagar, July 22: Headmaster of a primary school was suspended in the midday meal case in which over 11 children fell ill after consuming it, police said on Monday.
Ramvir was suspended yesterday by the district authorities, they said.
A show cause notice was also issued to Gram Pradhan Jogender Sain by the district authorities in connection with the incident.
Gram Pradhan is the committee chairman responsible for supplying midday meals.
Over 11 students of government-run primary school fell ill after consuming the midday meal at Lusana village in the district on July 20, 2013.
An inquiry has been ordered in to the incident, K K Singh, Basic Shiksha Adhkari said.
