Death toll in China earthquake rises to 54
Beijing, July 22: Fifty-four people were killed in an earthquake in China's Gansu province on Monday, authorities said.
The 6.6-magnitude quake, which occurred at 7.45 a.m. at the juncture of Minxian county and Zhangxian county in the city of Dingxi, has also left over 300 injured, reported Xinhua, citing the publicity department of Dingxi city government.

Earlier today, 11 people were reported dead and 81 injured. However, the tolls rise as fire department unearth bodies buried under rubbles
