Armyman arrested for shooting wife

Gurgaon, July 20: Gurgaon police on Saturday arrested an Armyman for allegedly firing at his wife, critically injuring her, and two others at their home at Rajiv Nagar here.

Subedar Major Kuldeep Singh had a heated argument with his wife Raj Bala (40) over a property issue and he opened fire at her, SHO Civil line Naresh Kumar said.

In at least four shots fired by Kuldeep, two bullets hit Raj Bala's stomach while the remaining two shots hit his two close aides Ritesh and Anil, Kumar said. All the three were taken to a private hospital where they were being operated.

Ritesh and Anil are stated to be out of danger but Raj Bala is struggling for her life, informed SHO. Kuldeep Singh is presently posted at Rohtak, Haryana.
