New Delhi, July 18: Narendra Modi met BJP President Rajnath Singh and seems to be ready with the final list consisting names of members of Team 2014.
Modi, who recently was elected as the election campaign chief of the party, was expected to make an announcement regarding the team by Thursday, July 18 evening. A meeting was held in New Delhi by core BJP members who would take the final decisions. It was expected that senior leaders such as -- Sushma Swaraj, Arun Jaitley, LK Advani, Nitin Gadkari would be allocated special tasks ahead of the crucial Lok Sabha elections.
Modi met the party president on Wednesday. It was reported that both Modi and Rajnath Singh, during their meeting, had discussed work allocation and issues on which the BJP should take on the ruling Congress.

Earlier on Tuesday, the Gujarat Chief Minister had flown to Nagpur, Maharashtra and met Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat. Modi and Bhagwat reportedly had discussed internal party dynamics and election strategy.
However, there were no reports regarding BJP's decision on its nominee for Prime Minister post for the upcoming General Election which is expected to be held in 2014. It was earlier reported that BJP was unlikely to announce Modi's name as PM candidate in near future. However, sources from BJP informed that the Gujarat CM was a strong contender for the post.
