India's 21st nuclear reactor at Kudankulam starts fission

Chennai, July 14: The much awaited event for the Indian nuclear establishment, the first unit at Kudankulam Nuclear Power Project (KNPP) and India's 21st reactor, began nuclear fission process Saturday night, said officials of the Nuclear Power Corporation of India Ltd (NPCIL).
